Azimut Yachting Gala IV - Cannes
As in every year now, the Azimut – Benetti Group combines style, elegance and luxury into the exclusivist event that has become a key event of the year – the Yachting Gala.
This year the event will take place on the 26th - 27thof June 2010, in Cannes. As in the last three successful editions, all the customers and prospects will have the opportunity to test the whole range of the Azimut- Benetti Group, during all the day.
Looking back, at the glamorous, exclusivist previous editions of this important event of the season, one cannot help but notice the unique style and atmosphere of this event. The very first Yachting Gala, organised in 2007 in Varazze was a huge success with more than 2000 guests, 15 exclusive partners and international media. In 2008, the Gala took place in the brand new Marina in Viareggio, a perfect place for a midsummer night’s dream… Last year the theme of the Gala changed, along with the colours defining it, the red theme of “passion”.
This year the Group will not cease to amaze its guests, starting with the special gala dinner organised on the beach of the prestigious Hotel Martinez in Cannes, next to a stage with musical entertainment provided by a renowed international star.
Next day, on the 27th of June, the Azimut-Benetti fleet will move to the Iles de Lerins for a truly wonderful trip

The first preview of the new Azimut 64.After Varazze and Viareggio, Azimut-Benetti Group has chosen the international charm of the Coted'Azur for the fourth Yachting Gala, the now traditional event that attracts over one thousand visitorsfrom every corner of the world, every year. They're drawn by the amazing opportunity to take part in areal private boat show: two days jam-packed with surprises and events.
This year, the event programme was inspired by the atmosphere of the most exclusive yachting clubs:dream boats on course for islands set in crystal-clear waters, elegant breakfasts on the beach, candlelitdinners just a stone's throw from the sea. Additionally there will be a gala evening with night-timeyacht parade, a Gloria Gaynor concert and, as a finale, a dance party right on the beach.
It's in this wonderful context that the company has chosen to present its latest addition: the Azimut 64,a yacht over 20 metres in length, the natural successor to the Azimut 62, a model that has hadunprecedented sales success, with 200 sold across the world. The Azimut 64, probably the mostcomplete flybridge in its category, is distinguished by its stylistic innovation, exceptional safety levelsand excellent sailing qualities.

In Port Canto, the guests of the Yachting Gala, which this year sees a significant number of visitorsfrom Brazil, the emerging luxury boat target market, had a fleet of 25 boats at their disposal for visitsand sea-going trials. There was also a romantic cruise towards the Lérins Islands just off the coast,where a visit was planned to the famous Cistercian monastery of Notre Dame de Lérins.
