Passion for the sea, luxury and well-known brands - here are some
elements of the event that took place a few days ago in Bucharest.
It's the second edition of the Romanian Boat Show, a show held during
May 30-June 3, a promisiing event for Neptun Yacht , one of
the exhibiting companies.
Neptun Yacht, the company of the famous businessman Florin Carstocea, managed to sale a number
of three boats: Zaffiro 28 (produced by the Cranchi shipyard) - worth 99,000
euros ( excluding VAT and taxes); Islamorada 23 (produced by Sessa
Marine) - 62,000 euros (excluding VAT and taxes) and S 32 (produced by
Sessa Marine) - 178,000 euros (excluding VAT and taxes).
Romanian Boat Show has gathered, this year, no less than 40
companies from Romania and Bulgaria, who have exposed boats worth over eight
million. The participating companies presented to the public on an area of
7500 square meters, over 100 brands.
Although at that time it has been said that the star event was the yacht sold by a Bulgarian company, worth 500,000 euros, Neptun Yacht
subsequently came up with an stunning announcement: there are discussions to sell the boat Azimut 46. Azimut 46 is a special boat, and
its price has the gift of shocking: 736,000 Euro (excluding VAT and taxes). And if we also take into account tha taxes ... it would mean an additional 12%.
Another 60 potential clients
According to the Neptun Yacht representatives, the clients are either eager for recreational time on water, which already have
experience in the field, or people who are just now starting to experiment
and feel the "taste" of a yacht. Following the event in Bucharest, Neptun Yachting has gathered another 60 potential
clients.
Moreover, according to estimates of specialists, the fact that taxes related to yachts rise to 12% this year, and not 50% as it was in 2006, this will
result in a spectacular increase in sales in Romania - most
likely boats of approximately 7-8 meters, which can be used in the Danube
Delta and on the Danube. The only problem would be, unfortunately, the little
developed infrastructure.
